Spring is finally here and there is no better way to spend a Saturday than outdoors. Last weekend, Haiti Gospel Fund hosted the 5th Annual "18 Holes for Haiti" golf tournament to benefit Hope Vision Ministries in Port de Paix, Haiti. Our church, Capstone Church, has come along side Haiti Gospel Fund to help put on this event, so Connor and I offered to volunteer this year. Con woke up extra early to meet the guys at the church to help load up tables, chairs, and coolers. They met the rest of the volunteers at Carolina Springs Golf Course in time to set up raffle items, organize a ball drop, and serve breakfast to the players. This year's event brought in the largest number of teams and sponsors to date! Through everyone's generosity, Haiti Gospel Fund was able to raise over $18,000 for the children at Hope Vision. This money will go towards new bunk beds and other items needed as the orphanage moves to a new location across the island. To have contributed even a tiny bit to this amazing cause is such an honor.
