Instagram is one of my favorite Apps. Last summer I went exploring and stumbled upon @theconfettibar. As soon as I saw Jessica Huizenga's beautiful creations I knew I had to have some for our wedding! Through her website theconfettibar.com I was able to order a custom batch of "Peachy Keen" confetti. Jessica was so easy to work with, and had my order shipped in less than two weeks. This custom blend is perfection. In the 'Will you be my bridesmaid?' gifts I included dainty milk jars from Anthropologie filled with confetti. This was a fun way to share all the colors I envision for the Big Day.

Connor and I have gone to Kiawah Island, SC every summer since we started dating in 2010. Mr. and Mrs. McCraw rent a house on the beach, and we spend a week lounging in the sun and exploring Charleston. Last year our trip was extra special because Connor proposed, and we got to share our special moment with his family. Mingo Point at Kiawah Island - July 10, 2014
New Year, New Growth. My fiancé and I spent New Years Day building a terrarium from an antique jar we found in our storage unit. Through our 5 years together we have accumulated a lot of "stuff for the future." This jar has been patiently waiting its turn to be transformed in one of our many projects. After a bit of research, we set out to gather our supplies at Home Depot. Assembling the terrarium only took about 30 minutes, and these hardy succulents can live for years. Layer small stones, activated charcoal, sand, and potting soil in the base of the jar. Arrange the succulents how you please. Place the finished terrarium in a sunny spot indoors and mist once a week.
