Pinterest has done it again! I stumbled upon a clay tag tutorial on this great blog Mahalolena | Style.Life. Using this post as inspiration, I made a handful of tags for sorority presents, Mother's Day gifts, and a few birthdays coming up. These were super easy to make and cost less than $10. All you need is an air-dry clay, assorted cookie cutters, stamp letters, white paint, and Mod Podge. I already owned paint and Mod Podge, but I bought the rest of my supplies at Walmart. In less than an hour I rolled out a half dozen tags and stamped them with various messages. The finished product was even better than I anticipated! I used these tags for gift wrapping, but they could also be used as ornaments. The original blog post also describes how to decorate each tag with tissue paper. I'll try that next time!
